Mountain Dawgs handles the whole move: we load your belongings, transport them and unload them at the new place. Beds come apart for the trip and go back together when we get there.
Our crews work out of North Alabama and travel outside the area for an additional fee, so a move from Huntsville to Birmingham, Nashville or further is something we can plan for you.
Important: Mountain Dawgs moves your furniture and belongings out of a house, apartment or business. We do not physically move houses or buildings themselves.

A deposit reserves and books your job on the calendar.
Move day
The crew loads, transports and unloads. Balance is due when the job is complete.
OUR MOVING POLICIES
Everything here is stated up front so there are no surprises on job day.
| Packing | Packing is available for an additional charge and must be scheduled 24–48 hours before your moving date. Mountain Dawgs does not supply packing materials — boxes, tape, wrap and anything else needed are provided by the customer. If you would rather pack yourself, everything must be packed, sealed and ready before our crew arrives. |

| Crew size | Crew size depends on the size and complexity of the job. We confirm the crew after reviewing your inventory and access. |
| Minimum charge | $500 minimum charge on every job. |
| Deposit | A deposit is required to reserve and book your date. |
| Final balance | The remaining balance is due when the job is completed. |
| Travel | Moves within 30 miles are included in the quoted price. Moves exceeding 30 miles are subject to a travel charge of $3.00 per additional one-way mile, plus tolls when applicable. Additional trucks are charged separately. Out of state travel is available. |
| Specialty items | Safes, pianos, pool tables, fitness equipment, commercial equipment and other heavy or awkward pieces carry an additional fee on top of the standard moving rate. Tell us about them up front so the right crew and equipment show up. |
